Hard at work on her latest film, Megan Fox was spotted visiting the make-up trailer on the set of “Jonah Hex” in New Orleans, Louisiana on Friday (April 24).

Playing a character named Leila, the movie is about “a scarred bounty hunter who tracks a voodoo practitioner bent on liberating the South by raising an army of the undead.”

Meanwhile, it sounds as if Miss Fox has worked out her issues with on again/off again boyfriend Brian Austin Green.

“They went through couples counseling together and it seems to have done them the world of good,” a friend for the pair told press. “They are making a lot of plans for the future. They’re buying a house together first and marriage is definitely on the cards.”

The insider adds, “Megan is even hinting at a big wedding some time next year. She’s very excited.”

Jesus What Would Jesus NOT Do?

We always hear about the many amazing things that Jesus of Nazareth apparently did, but nobody ever asks about the things that Jesus supposedly COULD have done, being omnipotent, but either didn't bother to do or didn't think were all that important. You know, things like... reducing human misery and suffering... that kind of thing.

It occurs to me that if indeed the miracles recorded in the bible were in fact true, and really did happen,... then that only shows Yahweh/Jesus to be an even MORE malevolent and cruel being than we see in the old testament, and that's saying something. If the miracles somehow prove that Jesus WAS in fact a god in human form, but all he could be bothered to do was turn water into wine and heal only a few hundred, or even a few thousand people with his magic saliva, then really - what the fuck is the use of such a god? Think of what a visiting, omnipotent deity COULD have done - but in this case, apparently, chose not to!!!!!

2009 New York - 2010 Mazda CX-7

The 2010 Mazda CX-7 has finally made its stateside debut after being unveiled at the Canadian and Geneva Motor Show. Today at the 2009 New York Auto Show, Mazda announced that the new 2010 CX-7 will go on sale in the U.S. in the late summer of 2009.

Buyers will have the choice of picking between two powertrain options for the five-passenger SUV. The base entry level 2010 CX-7 will be powered by a 2.5L inline 4-cylinder unit making 161-hp and a maximum torque of 161 lb-ft. It will be mated to a 5-speed automatic and a front-wheel-drive system and will achieve an estimated 21/28 mpg (city/highway).

For those seeking more power, Mazda will also offer a 2.3L DISI turbo-charged unit making 244-hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. It will be offered with a choice of front-wheel-drive or Mazda’s Active Torque-Split all-whee-drive system.

Pricing and availability details will be announced closer to the launch date.
